Sustainable Swaps: Grow With Us - An Earth Day Celebration
Allston, April 2025
Wicked Fun Consulting worked with Sustainable Swaps and Allstonway to host the first Grow With Us - An Earth Day Celebration clothing swap event on April 19th. Allstonway is a new public space opening in Allston at the end of 2025. In an effort to bring awareness to the site, Allstonway partnered with Sustainable Swaps to bring their popular swap and market to Western Avenue for a day long event featuring 20+ vintage clothing and art vendors, food trucks, a microgreen planting activity, giveaways, the Boston Water Truck and a live DJ. The event welcomed 1,000+ people of all ages from all over Allston and beyond. Over 200 microgreen trays were planted, hundreds of items of clothing were sustainably swapped or traded, and 16 bags of clothing were collected and donated to a local clothing drive. Everyone is looking forward to hosting this event again next year at Allstonway once construction is complete.
